Restore your GRE mode purchase
GRE mode is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple or Google account, so you never pay twice. On a new phone, or after reinstalling:
- Sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.
- Open Jargon and go to Settings.
- Tap Restore Purchases.
If GRE mode still doesn't unlock, email us with the date you bought it. Don't send card details; we never need them.
Common questions
Is Jargon a subscription?
No. The app is free with 145 essential words and every feature. GRE mode is a single $9.99 purchase that you keep.
Does my iPhone purchase carry over to Android, or the other way round?
No. Apple and Google handle purchases separately, so a purchase restores only on the same platform it was made on.
How do I get a refund?
Apple and Google process refunds for app purchases. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use the Google Play order history. Email us if you get stuck.
Will I lose my progress if I switch phones?
Email us before you switch and we'll tell you what carries over for your version of the app.
